The Dark Void is a turn based strategy game akin to the Advance Wars series for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS. The player is an officer as a part of the space alliance program, and goes out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an allied planet. But when his ship approaches the planet, it is shot down. Alone and armed with only the quantum caller, a device that can beam in any military resource from any planet, he must secure the planet and return home, alive. The Dark Void was one of the five freshman games selected for presentation at the DigiPen Student Showcase.
